claimed he was a lesser dinosaur, left
over from the Cretaceous period.

Тут довольно мало лишних деталей, почти нет (у Тарантино больше "экспромта"). В целом очень красиво "сказительно" написано, сценарист здорово задает стиль повествования. Почти литературно.
